Magnus-Metal Ltd. is an early-stage start-up company, developing a new “Additive Casting” process for the
manufacturing of large metal parts. The process outputs cast metal parts based upon the customer’s CAD file.
Our development machine has proven the technology and process, and we are currently recruiting excellent
professionals to join our multi-disciplinary R&D team on the path to industrializing the solution.
Job Summary:
The System / Project Engineer leads, coordinates and performs engineering projects and tasks based upon her/his relevant professional background and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Leading multidisciplinary system-related small-scale engineering projects in collaboration with R&D staff from various departments
- Project planning and follow-up
- Requirements definition
- Components and solutions search, selection and testing
- Planning, designing and building test set-ups
- Developing test plans and Conducting experiments
- Presenting project plans and conducting design reviews
- Testing performance and reliability of systems and sub-systems
- Optimizing system performance
- Initiating system IP activities
- Generating coherent test reports and recommending next steps for improvement
Qualification:
- B.Sc/M.Sc in electrical/mechanical/process/control engineering
- 5 years of experience in working with complex multidisciplinary systems
- Technical project management experience - preferable
- Good English skills – written and spoken
- Good communication skills in inter-cultural environment and team work ability
- Ability to work in a methodic and orderly manner
- Good learning ability and presentation skills, including written and verbal analysis of complex technical problems
- Advanced user of MS Office programs
- Flexibility under technical and schedule constraints
